We are excited to be holding a weekend training clinic at the new “Sydney Mountain Trail” in Yarramundi NSW, kindly hosted by Melissa Innis.
Mountain Trail is a great way to introduce horses and riders to obstacles and, when combined with Ian’s teaching which has a focus on having horses balanced, supple, relaxed and resistance/brace free, gives riders and horses the opportunity to put things into practice on the trail course.
Participants are welcome to work in-hand or under saddle, or a combination of both.
Clinic is suitable for riders new to trail/obstacles, young/green horses, & those more advanced riders seeking additional guidance.
We are now taking early registration for this clinic and places will be limited.
Participants: $400.00 – please note that this is a full 2-day clinic running 9-5pm daily.
Participant on-line registration and a non-refundable deposit* payment is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable two weeks before the commencement of the clinic.

Overnight camping (unpowered), toilets, showers and horse yards are available.
Camping/yard pricing is available from our host Melissa – please email her for details m.innins@bigpond.com.au. Please be patient for a response if emailing between August and November 2024 – they are working to bring their new website on line soon.
Participants will be asked to confirm their camping/yard arrangements with Melissa and make separate payment in addition to the clinic fee prior to the commencement of the clinic.
Spectators* (Spectators must pre-register & pay online):
1 Day: $50.00
2 Days: $80.00
*Participant deposits to reserve your place and pre-paid spectator tickets are not refundable if you are unable to attend. Please consider this when reserving your place or booking your ticket. You may nominate and substitute a participant/spectator in your booked place should you be unable to attend, and your booking will be amended to reflect your substitution. Any outstanding balance will be due and payable.
If the clinic date[s] or venue is rescheduled/amended at the discretion of Ian Leighton Horsemanship or the venue, any deposit or pre-paid fees will be transferred to the rescheduled dates, at either the same or an alternative venue within the same area. In the event of rescheduling, refunds will be considered at the sole discretion of Ian Leighton Horsemanship. In the event that Ian Leighton Horsemanship cancels the clinic, participant deposits, spectator tickets & any other advanced fees paid will be refunded.
