What kind of clinic is this? More Information
When you are on the selected clinic page, to reserve a participant position or pre-purchase spectator tickets scroll down to the Booking section & select the required ticket option. Please read all information carefully and note the deposit & payment terms and conditions.
Please note:
Participant deposits to reserve your place and pre-paid spectator tickets are not refundable. Please consider this when reserving your place or booking your ticket.
If the clinic date[s] or venue is rescheduled/amended at the discretion of Ian Leighton Horsemanship or the venue, any deposit or pre-paid fees will be transferred to the rescheduled dates, at either the same or an alternative venue within the same area. In the event of rescheduling, refunds will be considered at the sole discretion of Ian Leighton Horsemanship. In the event that Ian Leighton Horsemanship cancels the clinic, participant deposits, spectator tickets & any other advanced fees paid will be refunded.
Unless specified as a groundwork only or young horse clinic, workshops will involve in-hand groundwork progressing to ridden work. Whilst un-ridden horses are welcome and balancing and softening exercises can be performed in hand, a ridden component will form a major part the workshop program.
Please note that group clinics are generally not suited for beginner riders, and you will need to be able to walk & trot in a controlled manner as a minimum. We suggest beginner riders seek out private lessons with a suitably experienced person to learn the basics of riding before booking into a group clinic event.
Please note that many clinics/venues are not suitable for stallion participation, and stallions will generally not be permitted into group clinic activities. If you would like lessons with your stallion, please contact us to discuss private instruction.
Spectators horses are not allowed to be brought to the venue unless specific permission has been granted by Ian Leighton Horsemanship and the venue.
